Our Story

Sonacorn started with a whisk, a sketchbook, and a serious sweet tooth.

We wanted desserts that taste amazing, and also feel like a daydream. What began as late-night experiments turned into a friendly little bakery where new ideas go to play.

Part of that exploration was going gluten-free, not because we think it’s the “only way,” but because we love a good pastry with morning coffee, and the options out there often fell short. We wanted treats that everyone could get excited about, not just “good for gluten-free,” but good period.

Today we bake in micro-batches, test flavors with our community, and drop limited runs that sell out fast (because that’s the fun of it!).

Meet the Maker

Hi! I’m Sona, the maker behind Sonacorn.

My path here hasn’t been a straight line. Over the past 25 years, I built a long and successful corporate career in the beauty industry, where I learned so much about business, perseverance, and what it takes to grow something from the ground up.

Along the way, I discovered baking as a creative outlet, a space where I could design, experiment, and bring a little joy to the people around me. What started as a hobby became something more: a way to combine creativity with heart, and share it with others.

Sonacorn is my leap into that passion. It’s a place where whimsy meets comfort, and where playful desserts remind us not to take life too seriously. Every batch made is part dream, part dedication, and a whole lot of heart. Thanks for letting me share a little magic with your day. ✨
